The UK Resuscitation Council are due to announce the changes in the 2010 Guidelines on 18th October 2010.
The rules regarding first aid have their main review every 5 years, the last change was in 2005 so the next one is this year. There is various speculation on what the changes will be but we will not know until it is announced.
These potential changes are nothing to worry about as you can continue carrying our fist aid and CPR the way you have been trained until you do your next refresher or you update by watching the revised video when available.
When the changes are known we will put it on this blog and then change our video’s on our www.profaw.co.uk websites at the earliest time.

We have launched a new website to help find classroom courses. The new first aid course site has a refreshing new design to help you to find a classroom course near you.
Once you find course you want to book onto you simply register, pay a £5 plus VAT booking deposit and your instructor will be in touch with all the full course details. On completion of your ProTrainings course you will receive one of our wall certificates and wallet card, login area, expiry reminders, weekly video email refresher and a free PDF course manual. You can also validate your certificate from all of our sites.
We are using the existing www.blendedcpr.eu site to be used for finding evaluators for our new blended online courses. With this new course finder website linked in with the online sites we are promoting training to hopefully bring all our centres more leads.
